Quite a career change, but not too surprising. A lot of graduates in psychology think they want to work in the field, but not as clinicians, so they end up in jobs like yours. Truth is that any degree is good preparation for many business careers, and account sales rep is the quintessential business career. If you are bored, you may love the thrill of the hunt that you get in sales. Then, you may hate it, but it's an entry point into a business career. Since I spent my career there, I think business is the most exciting place to be.

Seriously, if you are finding people boring, yes, I would move on to another field. However, it seems you are not "people" orientated so not sure sales is your best bet either. The general public can be very rude and hard to please. Do you think you are up for it? Think about it long and hard, that's my advise. Laineylin
