Asked by Willalee
My husband wants to go in with a tie and all business professional, and I think he should be a bit more relaxed. Not shirt and jeans, but maybe business casual?
Who's right?

whatever makes him look good and feel comfortable with himself!
also, it never hurts to try to dress like the company, "when in rome, do as the romans do...."
A:
dress to impress.
casual dress for interview is not in his best interest.

Not a suit! It depends on what kind of a job he was going for. If he was looking for construction work, roofer, pizza delivery, childcare, or janitor then wouldn't it look silly if he showed up in a suit and briefcase?
Business casual should be fine. A suit overdoes it and makes it look like he is trying too hard.
What do other people in that same position where he is interviewing at wear? Do something similar that looks slightly better though.

maybe you should have him wear some khaki slacks and and a button up shirt. business casual is definitely the way to go, but he should still dress to impress.
