Well, there are some jobs people will pay you for... ...
Haha.. well you might not want to do that.
It is hard being 14 and looking for a job because most places hire at 15 and even more at 16. You might be able to work at a friend's parents' business or something.

Pet sitting...lots of people go away and need someone to care for their furry "kids!" Also, you can work lots of places if you get a work permit.

Under the table. I work for an old lady that pays me 8 bucks an hour but it's only when she needs help. My friend is younger than me, still older than you though, and he can't find a job anywhere. Most people want at least 16 years old.

You want to try family owned company's, small shops ect. They are the most likely to not have strict HR policies in place. Although it is still illegal for you 2 work under 16 and we are in a recession so its doesn't look good.

Someone told me that Chick fil A hires 15 year olds. I live in Texas though so it might be different here than wherever you are.

There aren't many options for someone your age, but you could get a paper route probably, as well as mow neighbor's lawns, or try to apply at a grocery store, sometimes they hire teenagers.
