History
Pacific Pulmonary Services was founded in 1978 in Bakersfield, California as "Med-Mart", a full-service Durable Medical Equipment company serving the Central Valley of California. In 1993 the Company?s CEO, and other investors acquired Med-Mart. In 1996, the business was refocused to concentrate on what we do best, home oxygen and respiratory medications equipment and services. Today, Pacific Pulmonary Services employs over 1000 associates and is the largest privately held provider of home oxygen and respiratory medications in the United States.
In addition to the Patient Care Centers, Pacific Pulmonary Services operates: pharmacies in Bakersfield, California and Tempe, Arizona; a centralized CPAP Service Center in Bakersfield, California; billing and reimbursement offices in Antioch, California, Bakersfield, California, Omaha, Nebraska and Tempe, Arizona; and the administrative office in Novato, California.
