Our History

Pacific Resource Credit Union was founded on June 6, 1936 as Rio Grande General Office Employees Federal Credit Union. Over the years we grew to serve employees and family members of what eventually became Atlantic Richfield (ARCO). As time went by, our members wished to offer the benefits of their credit union to more Southern Californians. With that resolve came our new name - Pacific Resource Credit Union. We have become the credit union of many of many of California's local cities, non-profits, and leading corporations.
