Currently, CompSource Oklahoma is the largest workers' compensation insurance carrier in the state, serving more than 27,000 businesses and government agencies. We insure thousands of Oklahoma companies and provide coverage benefits for tens of thousands of Oklahoma employees.
Manufacturing, natural resources, trucking, wheat and cattle are Oklahoma's primary economic staples. CompSource Oklahoma provides coverage for these risks as well as many others. Our Financial Stability CompSource Oklahoma currently maintains a strong financial position with surplus at December 31, 2003, of approximately $174 million. Such financial strength has resulted in significant dividends (over $62.5 million) being declared since 1998. Despite current economic pressures, we strive to maintain rates at the lowest possible level without compromising our financial strength and excellent service. Our History In 1933, CompSource Oklahoma was created to provide a consistent, viable market for Oklahoma employers to obtain coverage that was both affordable and service-driven. For more than 71 years, CompSource Oklahoma has continued as a non-profit, self-supporting, insurance company for Oklahoma employers, large and small.
