SSG has recently acquired the government contract supported portion of L3 Tinsley - Integrated Optical Systems. Since its founding in 1926, L3 Tinsley - IOS has become the established leader in the design and manufacture of precision optical components, assemblies, and sub-systems. L3 Tinsley - IOS produces very precise spherical and non-spherical (aspheric) optical components with applications in many industries and for many users. Their unique technology permits us to produce precision optics in production and singular quantities. L3 Tinsley - IOS's continuing legacy of quality, delivery and service has established us as the long term provider for the precision optical needs of our diverse and international group of customers.
