Founded in 1999 and based in Mountain View, California, ZONARE Medical Systems, Inc. is a well-funded pre-IPO medical device company. ZONARE is developing a high quality premium ultrasound device for several medical applications. ZONARE will target its products for existing ultrasound markets (such as, general imaging, cardiology, and obstetrics/gynecology) while enabling a new ultrasound market in point of care medicine that includes emergency medicine, surgery and other emerging markets.
