Founded in 1994, AlloSource, of Centennial, Colorado is one of the nation’s largest non-profit providers of bone and soft tissue allografts for use in a host of medical treatments.

Allografts – Improving Quality of Life

Allografts are tissues transplanted from one person to another. The tissue comes from a deceased donor and represents a gift from the donor family to enhance the quality of life for other people in need. AlloSource is one of the nation’s largest non-profit providers of bone and soft tissue allografts.

Nearly 36 million Americans have musculoskeletal conditions that limit the functionality and quality of life. Allografts provided by AlloSource can return the functionality necessary to perform the simplest tasks that are often taken for granted.

Although allograft transplantation is a fairly common procedure used to treat individuals with trauma, sports and age-related injuries, the number of procedures is limited by the availability of donor tissue. While many people accept transplantation as a common and available medical practice, still today there are thousands of people in need. There is simply not enough to go around.
