Wi-Fi is Everywhere

The past decade has seen a massive growth in wireless connectivity via broad acceptance of the 802.11 IEEE standard – otherwise known as Wi-Fi. From homes, to buildings, to entire cities, the investment in this interoperable infrastructure has reached well into the billions of dollars. Indeed, Wi-Fi is everywhere, and has become so common it is difficult to imagine a world without it. The massive installed base of this Wi-Fi network continues to rapidly grow and provides the underpinnings upon which the 4th Age of Wireless can flourish.

Internet of Things

The "Internet of Things" is a phrase describing a number of technologies and research disciplines that enable the Internet to reach out into the real world of physical objects. With nearly every powered device capable of connecting to the Internet, the potential for commercial and personal use is unbounded. New products and new business models will flourish. We refer to this dramatic shift in communication, from person-to-machine to machine-to-machine, as the 4th Age of Wireless — the Internet of Things.

ZeroG provides such a solution.
