In addition, Rémy Cointreau USA has re-signed exclusive distribution and importing contracts with several existing brands in its portfolio, including Masi® Wines and The Edrington Group – producers of The Macallan® Scotch, The Famous Grouse® Scotch and Highland Park® – and formed a new distribution agreement for Metaxa®, the premium line of Greek aperitifs, including brandy and Ouzo.
These announcements come on the heels of the company receiving unprecedented industry recognition, including Supplier of the Year in the Spirits Category from Cheers Magazine, the recent naming of Mount Gay® Rum as Ultra Premium Spirit of the Year by The Beverage Institute and Cointreau® Liqueur receiving the Top Fruit Liqueur and a double gold medal at the March 2007 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
