A History of Good People and Hard Work When Lloyd first formed Boone Brothers Roofing in 1958, he had only one or two shinglers working with him. In the early 60s, residential work was the mainstay of the business and the crew had grown to a dozen workers.
By 1970, shopping centers and apartment buildings were some of the prime construction projects throughout the area. Boone Brothers Roofing worked on several of them. Their reputation for outstanding on-time work brought bigger roofing challenges, including school buildings, distribution centers, university libraries and correctional facilities.
In the late 1980s, a branch office was established in Olathe, Kansas, and crews began working in Missouri and Kansas on a regular basis.
A third branch office is located in Sioux City, Iowa.
The company has successfully completed projects in Nebraska, Kansas, Virginia, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Illinois. | |
