Hamilton Center, Inc. is a regional behavioral health system in Central and West Central Indiana. The corporate offices are located in Terre Haute. The offices are designed to be convenient, private and confidential, reducing the barriers sometimes associated with seeking psychological health treatment. Hamilton Center employs over 600 staff statewide, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, therapists, counserlors, case managers, etc.
Services are provided to children, adolescents and adults, with specialized programs for pregnant women, infants, and people with drug and alcohol problems. Counseling services are provided for people who may be struggling with stress, life changes, or relationship issues as well as more serious problems such as depression, anxiety disorders, serious mental illnesses.
Hamilton Center has been providing quality mental health services in the State of Indiana for over 30 years. Established in 1971, Hamilton Center was named in honor of Katherine Hamilton, an outspoken advocate for improved mental health care.
