The company operates a large diverse national fiber-optic based Internet, MPLS and layer 2 backbone, delivered to its customers utilizing a vast number of last-mile options. History
Host.net, started by two South Florida computer and telecommunications specialists, grew from their modest two-person operation out of a garage, offering Internet access and integration services, to a company of 35+ employees, tens of millions of dollars in annual revenue, and is cash flow positive and debt free, and has expanded its portfolio of services to include colocation, fiber-optic transport, VoIP and Managed Network Security Services.
The company's growth is the result of numerous efforts, including acquisitions (US Data, a national network services company in 2002, Dial ISDN & Tier Systems, a Florida based ISP in 2003, GO International a teleradiology network service provider in 2004) and WebUnited & Expedient Florida in 2007 dramatically expanding its sales and marketing efforts. Its biggest growth has come from referrals from our large base of satisfied customers.
