 Acadia Abilene Hospital is a 60 bed inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Abilene, Texas. Acadia Abilene is a center of excellence in the field of mental health care. Our programs reflect not only the state-of-the-art in psychiatric treatment, but help to create it. Licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS), accredited by the gold standard in quality care, The Joint Commission (TJC), and contracted with more than 20 managed care organizations, our programs are recognized for quality. Day in and day out, our staff works hard to ensure not only that we are meeting our patient’s expectations, but exceeding them. Adult Program – Treating men and women ages 18-64, our adult services inspire understanding and effectively coping with both the situational and chronic stressors that result in emotional and mental trauma.
Day Treatment Services – Like our inpatient programming, our outpatient programs are highly structured and highly effective – without the overnight stay. Our outpatient programming can be accessed as a “step-down” from an inpatient level of care or directly – whatever best suits the need of the individual. Outpatient programming include day and evening treatment and can last anywhere from 2-10 weeks.
