On April 24, 2006, Compass Airlines officially opened its doors as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Northwest Airlines, Inc. Compass was formed as a Northwest Airlink partner to operate 36 of its new 76-seat regional jets. Compass Airlines is focused on providing safe and reliable air transportation and great customer service. Compass will operate 36 new state-of-the-art Embraer 175 aircraft featuring dual class service, including 12 first class seats and 64 seats in coach. Compass Airlines is headquartered in Chantilly, Virginia, approximately 5 miles south of Dulles International Airport. |
