Job Description Of A Sales Representative

* Travel to pre-set, face to face appointment in the customer’s home
* Conduct in home presentation
* Quote estimate for the home project
* Establish value of Home Remodeling Project
* Finalize Project Details
* Complete Contract/Finance Paperwork

This involves no cold calling or canvassing. All of our appointments that are set, screened, and confirmed for you on a daily basis. Our sales representatives are well trained, highly paid, and motivated people who are working irregular hours selling the best home improvement products in America.

Each Sale Rep receives pre-set, qualified, appointments daily. Appointments are generally schedule for afternoon and evening hours.

Sales Reps work with homeowners to improve their home through an in-home sales presentation. The sales rep is compensated through commission, bonuses, incentive awards, major medical and hospitalization, 401k, and annual Summit Awards. As an employee taxes and social security contributions are withheld for you. You can expect to make above average income in a sales position with Erie.

Advancement Opportunities: Get A Closer Look

Erie Construction has had college grads become senior reps in as short as 6 months to 1 year. Advancement is based on sales performance and leadership abilities. Once a sales representative becomes a senior rep he or she would then be in charge of helping with field training of new reps, assist the manager, and get additional bonuses above and beyond a normal sales rep. Due to our company structure there are many opportunities to manage. We have a branch manager of each office and we also have product managers of each line of home remodeling projects. If you enjoy traveling, the a regional manager position would be ideal. The regional manager travels through out the United States assisting other offices in doing development and training where needed.

Assistant Manager: Senior Rep who assists branch manager with team
Manager: Manages up to 5 sales reps of a specific product line
Branch Manager: Runs branch office of sales reps, ad reps, and administration
Regional Sales Manager: Travels and manages multiple territories and offices doing continuous follow up training and staffing.


Requirements for a Sales Representative Position

* Sales Experience: consumer, in home, or one call close sales experience preferred
* Reliable Car
* Ability to work afternoon and evening appointments
* Outgoing, Assertive Winner's Attitude
