About Us
A large established hedge fund founded in 1999 has launched a program to train future traders and incubate future fund managers. Students will learn in a state of the art facility from several instructors with over 60 years of combined positive trading experience, having managed assets totaling over $1 Billion. Richard Scalone is the founder, President and Portfolio Manager of the Integra Fund, a foreign currency hedge fund. He graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and has more then 20 years of investment and trading experience. Mr. Scalone began his career as a Federal Funds Trader for Canadian Imperial Bank helping manage the bank’s overnight currency exposure. He then moved on to trade foreign exchange for Chemical Bank serving as a Forward Currency Trader, Chief Dealer for the European Monetary System (EMS) desk and Forward Desk Manager for all EMS currencies. During his tenure at Chemical Bank he traded IRS, FRA, BA, CSD and Futures money market instruments and others. Following Chemical Bank, Richard Scalone was a Proprietary Trader specializing in futures, bonds and the forward and spot markets with ABN Amro Bank before he founded the Integra Fund in 1999. Steven Michael is the founder and Portfolio Manger of Stonehenge Capital Management. A former member of the CBOT, CME and MAE, he began his financial and trading career in 1985 by trading fixed income markets, specializing in the yield curve and development of computerized risk management models frequently utilized by risk managers. Mr. Michael created proprietary models used to successfully trade the yield curve instruments and used these models to expand into the IMM.
Leslie A. Arouh- Chief Operating Officer Leslie Arouh is a partner in Integra FX. He is also a seasoned real estate developer. In partnership with Newman Realty Group and its subsidiaries, Mr. Arouh has acquired or developed over three million square feet of commercial property and more than 2,000 acres of residential property throughout Broward, Palm Beach, Hillsborough, and St. Lucie Counties. Projects have included office parks, mixed-use traditional neighborhood developments, retail centers, research facilities and residential communities. Currently, Newman Realty Group is the co-developer of the North Boca Village Center, a 900,000 square foot, $300 million project on North Federal Highway in Boca Raton.
