Sioux City - Now Open

Stoney Creek Inn-Sioux City offers 161 unique guest rooms, all with refrigerator, microwave and flat screen TV. A variety of theme suites with fireplace and whirlpool will also be available. This upscale urban lodge will welcome business travelers and conference participants, as well as sports teams and families. Located in the heart of downtown Sioux City and adjacent to the Tyson Event Center, Sioux City’s newest hotel will provide a combination of high tech environment and “People First” attitude.

Our 16,000 square feet of multi use conference space is Sioux City’s newest event center. The Rivers’ Bend Conference Center has 6500 square feet of space, and is perfect for weddings, social events, and large conferences. State of the art AV equipment will be available as well as on-site meeting coordinators to assist in planning your event. A selection of gourmet and down to earth caterers will be available. Seven additional meeting rooms are available for break out rooms, rehearsal dinners and meal functions. Expansive pre function space is available for registrations, exhibit space and general convention check in.

Palmers Pub is the hotel lobby bar, with a historical Sioux City theme. Palmers is a great meeting place for the corporate and convention traveler. Specialty pizza will be served as well as a variety of beverages. Located right off the lobby, Palmers Pub has the perfect location for networking.

The business and convention traveler will enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, free wireless internet, fitness facility, gift shop and public laundry facilities. Our Northwoods Traveler Club will be available to the frequent traveler. Stoney Creek Inn-Sioux City is proud to offer a smoke free environment.

2009

The Sioux City, IA Stoney Creek Inn is OPEN for business! This downtown urban lodge features 161 rooms, each with microwave and refrigerator. The Rivers Bend Conference Center will host business meetings and conventions, as well as social events. Waterfalls, an “over the top” courtyard, and the most exciting lobby in the state will “wow” every guest . Wolfgang Puck fresh coffee is available 24/7.

Construction continues with the Sioux City property,located adjacent to the Tyson Event Center. With 16,000 sq. ft. of multi use convention/banquet space and a lobby lounge named Palmer's Pub,this upscale urban lodge will be a welcome addition to downtown Sioux City.

2008

Inspired by the unique history of Sioux City's waterfront area, Stoney Creek Inn is quickly becoming a part of the city's community redevelopment project. Much earth has been moved, and ground is cleared for construction. A 2009 opening date is planned. The style of the hotel will complement the historic, yet contemporary feel to the area. The 161 room hotel will be a true destination, as it will sit among a thriving area complete with retail, dining, and entertainment venues.

2007

Sioux City, Iowa is confirmed as the location of the latest Stoney Creek Inn! The 11th property will be located directly north of the Tyson Events Center at the crossroads of Pearl, Pierce and Third Streets. With a new exterior look, the design will focus heavily on the rich local history of Sioux City. Our state of the art facility will be totally smoke free and include 161 guest rooms. Guests will find the unique decor they have come to love in all sleeping rooms. There will be a mix of custom rooms, suites, and extended stay accommodations. Over 15,000 square feet of meeting space is planned, plus a large smoke free public lounge area. Groundbreaking ceremonies are scheduled for early fall.
