Group Homes

Provide 24 hour, 7 day per week residential care in a home like setting.

Harmony House: Shelter for homeless women and children.

Safe Homes: For children who are first time removals due to reports of abuse, neglect, or family conflict.

Permanency Diagnostic Center: For children who have been disrupted from foster care because of emotional or behavioral difficulties.

Children’s Group Home: For children ages ten and under recently discharged from the state psychiatric hospital, or in risk of future hospitalization.

Girls Therapeutic Group Home: Lifeskills home for girls ages fourteen to eighteen who will transition to independent living or living with families.

Outpatient Services

Child Guidance Center: Provides mental health services to children and families.

Extended Day Treatment Program: Serves thirty-one at-risk children through a therapuetic afterschool and summer program.

Buddy Bus Program: Supervised transportation and visitation for children whose mothers are incarcerated.

Mentoring Program: Matches DCF-involved children with positive role models offering support and guidance.

Respite Program: Provides relief to caregivers of DCF-involved children with emotional and behavioral difficulties through supervised recreational activities outside of the home.

In-Home Services

Home Care Program: Senior program which assists with local transportation, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, simple meal preparation and laundry services.

Family Support Teams: Team of Masters-level Clinician and Bachelors level Paraprofessional provide 24/7 support to help stabilize child and family functioning to avoid removal of child from the home to out of home placements. 

Treatment Foster Care: Therapeutic program serving children between the ages of 6-17 years of age needing foster care placement because their biological families are unable to care for them.

Intensive In-Home Child and Adolescent Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (IICAPS): Team of Masters level Clinician and Bachelors level Mental Health Counselor provide 24/7 support to children who have psychiatric disorders and the family in which they are placed.
