In 1992, Rita C. Krett, R.N., B.S.N. and David A. Krett witnessed a family member having difficulty obtaining home care services.

Together they wanted to make sure any family in need of home care services would not have the same problems as their family member.

This was the beginning of Family Care Visiting Nurse and Home Care Agency, LLC.

When the doors opened in 1994, Family Care developed a program to fit the individual needs of families throughout Fairfield County.

During the past fifteen (15) years of caring for families, Family Care Visiting Nurse identified many other gaps in the home care industry.

Family Care has developed many new programs to address these deficiencies. The success of these programs and the reputation of Family Care has grown due to our philosophy of "Providing Quality Patient Care”.

For this reason, Family Care provides home care services in Fairfield & New Haven Counties, as well as the Greater Waterbury/Norwalk areas.

Because the company is family owned, it surely is run differently than a corporation, we care about our employees and our patients.

The expansion of Family Care has been very exciting to the founders, but nothing compares to helping another family with difficult decisions during a trying time.
